Thanks to you, last years event was a huge success!

21 Adoption Groups attended (list below) and we found homes for 75 dogs and cats. Although it was a hot day, we were able to assure the comfort of our homeless guests. We provided each with an electric outlet, fans, and individual water spigots. We went through an astonishing 850 lbs of ice to help cool the numerous doggy swimming pools and bottled water containers.

Thanks to the generous donations from attendees, we collected over $1,000.00 worth of pet food for local shelters. We could barely fit it in the back of the pickup truck!

One lucky Grand Prize raffle winner received a day at News 10 and a private dinner with Steve Caporizzo at Creo Restaurant.

White Management restaurants Creo and Bountiful Bread generously provided complimentary breakfast and lunch to all attendees.

The Silent Auction, featuring 25 donated gifts and prizes from local businesses, raised over $1,700 for Pet Connection.

WGNA 107.7 with the one, and surely only, Jeff Levack broadcast live on location from 10 to closing.

Vinnie Leddick, an outstanding singer/songwriter who headlines at the Sagamore Hotel, impressed our guests with his beautiful guitar music.

Caricaturist Natalie J Tal provided adopters with complimentary personalized drawings of their new family.

Each adoptive family received a complimentary canvas tote bag filled with pet related items and a $75 gift certificate for health care donated by The Animal Hospital to offset the adoption fee.

Numerous guests enjoyed tours of our state of the art veterinary facility including our laparoscopic surgical suite and eagle flight cage. The highlight of the tour was seeing one of the few remaining Golden Eagles in the State. Goldie joined us for the day courtesy of Berkshire Bird Paradise so that our guests could learn about this endangered species. Her story began with extensive surgery here at The Animal Hospital 11 years ago!
