Doppler Blood Pressure
We
all know how easy it is to take our blood pressure with a cuff. It is not so
simple when you add fur and a moving patient. The instrument you see at left is especially designed for veterinary
use. It uses a doppler sound technique to measure arterial blood flow, enabling
us to accurately measure the patients systolic and diastolic
pressures.
