Weekday Emergencies
Your pet, our patient, is never more than a phone call away from help when needed in an emergency. We are available for emergencies from 7:30 AM - 6:30 PM weekdays. Please always call first so we can assess the situation and be prepared if an emergency exists. The Animal Hospital has two intensive care/oxygen units, one for dogs and cats (shown at right) and one for birds and "pocket" pets. These specialized systems maintain oxygen levels, humidity and temperature for the critical patient. Our professional staff is trained and practiced to function as a team and to act swiftly and decisively in an emergency. We utilize a "crash cart" that has all the medications, catheters, syringes and instruments that are needed at our fingertips in an emergency.
