Our state-of-the-art flight cage has over 9,000 cubic feet of enclosed, secure space. All of the openings have vertical conduit spaced a few inches apart to produce a smooth interior surface that will not damage wings or feathers. Five inches outside of this is a continuous green vinyl clad chain link exterior barrier to protect our patient from any wild predators from entering. It has a sealed concrete floor for ease of cleaning. There is ample room for a bald eagle, peregrine falcon or any other raptor in our care to exercise freely and acclimate to the ambient temperatures before their release. This is one of only a few facilities of its kind in New York State.
